How far are you from Bangalore, Mangalore ?
We are at a distance of 270 km from Bangalore. We are around 95 km away from Mangalore.
How far is Dharmasthala Temple ?
Dharmasthala temple is around 20 km away from us. It takes between 35 to 50 minutes to reach depending on the mode of travel. Kukke Subrahmanya temple is around 40 KM away.
Do you serve non veg, liquor ?
No, we do not serve non-vegetarian food. We do not serve liquor.
What are the check in and check out timings ?
We are flexible about check in and check out timings. We charge for 24 hrs of valuable time with us. However, if you like to enjoy for few more hours, we will oblige. We honestly believe in hospitality.
What can we do in your place?
You have a huge list of activities which can be done in our place. Typical stay would be for two days. Playing in water, trekking, bird watching, rafting, rappelling, cycling, visiting temples, understanding agriculture, understanding eco-friendly platemaking are few activities to mention.
Do you have accommodation for driver?
Yes we provide accommodation and food for the driver at a cost of Rs. 300/- per day.
How is the local transport facility?
You can hire taxi, auto and jeep for local travel. There are frequent buses connecting Arasinamakki to Dharmasthala and Mangalore.
How safe is this place for women and children?
Stream of Joy is a safe place for women, children and elderly. The village, despite being remote boasts of 100% literacy rates. The villagers are very hygienic, friendly and helpful.
How about aged persons visiting the place?
The terrain is tough and one needs to use 20 steps to reach the resort. Seniors with knee pain and difficulty to walk are not advised to visit the place. There is a doctor available within stone throw distance from resort.
How do we reserve and make booking. What is the refund policy?
You can book the place by crediting 50% advance sum to our bank account. Please call Kashinath to get details. Cancellations with 100% refund are done until 72 hours prior to departure. Cancellations within 72 hours of departure, can be considered as an advance for visits within one year. Advance is also transferable to friends and relative.
